MQM leader Mohammad Anwar detained in London money laundering case


Senior leader of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Mohammad Anwar, was arrested in London today (Wednesday) by Scotland Yards’ Counter Terrorism Command (SO15), Dunya News reported. According to details, police arrested the 64-year-old man on suspicion of money laundering. Officers from the Counter Terrorism Command, while conducting an operation in the northwest area of London, arrested the suspect from his residence and took him to police station for further investigation whereas police is still searching his residence to gather more proofs.
