We first initially heard that the Samsung Galaxy Tab was going to be the manufacturer`s first Android powered tablet and would compete against the iPad in their home turf first. However, it was quickly rumored to be named the Samsung Galaxy Tape instead, but now it looks like it reverted back to its original moniker.
